Smith’s Clear Epoxy Sealer (CPES)

Description

Smith’s Clear Penetrating Epoxy Sealer [CPES] is a two part epoxy that is used for sealing and stabilizing wood. 
It forms a semipermeable membrane that slows absorption, yet allows evaporation if water absorption happens. 
It is especially good for use as a sealer of new planks and new boat bottoms. Apply two coats before the wood is bedded in 3M 5200.  
Smith’s CPES also makes an excellent primer for marine paint.
